4. Carving and glazing
The next step in making ceramics is to put a bamboo knife, bone knife or iron knife on the dry blank and carve your favorite pattern. Then glaze it with a loop device. The realization of glaze is very simple for everyone, but it is a difficult program to master. Because it must make the glaze layer of each part of the blank uniform and the thickness appropriate, it also depends on the different fluidity of various glazes.
5. Kiln burning and painting
It usually takes a day and night to put the ceramic products into the sagger and then burn the kiln, and the temperature is controlled at about 1300 degrees. At this time, everyone should also measure the temperature, check the temperature change of the kiln, and control the time of ceasefire. Finally, just draw patterns and fill colors on the ceramics.
