Lufeng County is located in the middle of Yunnan Province and the east of Chuxiong Prefecture. It is located between 24 51'~ 25 30' north latitude and10138' ~102 25' east longitude. It is about 76 kilometers wide from east to west and 68 kilometers long from north to south. The total area is 3536 square kilometers.
