Introduction to Chongzuo
Chongzuo (Zhuang language: Cungzcoj) is located in the southwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, south of the Tropic of Cancer, and its geographical coordinates are between 2136 ′ ~ 23 22 ′ north latitude and 0/06 33 ′ ~108 6 ′ east longitude. Originally a part of Nanning regional office, it was formally established on August 6, 2003. Chongzuo faces Southeast Asia, with its back to the southwest, Nanning and Qinzhou in the east and southeast, and Baise in the north. It governs Jiangzhou District, Fusui, Daxin, Tiandeng, Longzhou and Ningming counties, and manages Pingxiang at the county level. Among them, the four counties and cities of Ningming, Longzhou, Daxin and Pingxiang in the west and southwest border Vietnam, with a border line of 533 kilometers, which is the prefecture-level city with the longest land border in Guangxi. Total area 17440 km2. There are 3 national first-class ports, 4 second-class ports and 3 border trade points/kloc-0, with a population of 2.48 million, of which the Zhuang population accounts for 88.3% of the total population.
