The place names in Gongbei have changed several times. According to the historical documents such as A Brief History of Macau, Guangdong Customs Records, and Xiangshan County Records, the origin of China's customs establishment in Macau can be traced back to the 14th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1535). In the 27th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1688), the general port of Guangdong Customs in Macau was located at Marco Pier (formerly under the jurisdiction of Xiangshan County). This is the first trading port in Xiangshan County. After Portugal occupied Macao, the General Administration of Customs of Guangdong withdrew from Macao in February (1March 887) of Guangxu 13th year, and established Gongbei Pass on March 9th of the same year (1April 2nd 887). The Customs is located in Ma Xiaoyi Island in Gongbei Bay (now Wanzai Sub-district Office in Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City). Mayizhou, located in the Macau Waterway southwest of Yizhou Island in Gongbei Bay; Qianshan, located outside Qianshan Village, with barges as berths; Dongao, located in Wanshan Dongao Bay; Guanzha, located in Guanzha Village (now Gongbei Sub-district Office, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai); Shijiao, located in Wan Chai, across the sea from Macau; Haotian is located in Haotianzai Village. In the 23rd year of Guangxu (1897), Tanzhou and Hengmen (now Zhongshan) were added. Due to little effect, Mangzhou was immediately closed. Hengmen is located in Yangguanwei, Dongli Village, Zhangjiabian Township, and is mainly navigable to Hong Kong. In Xuantongyuan year (1909), Xiangzhou was set as a port, which was closed in the same year due to insufficient funds.
1950 65438+1On October 28th, the General Administration of Customs changed its name to People's Republic of China (PRC) (PRC) Gongbei Customs according to the regulations of the General Administration of Home Affairs of the Central People's Government. The former Gongbei Customs and Excise Office moved from Macau to Guntai Mountain and Meixi in Gongbei. 1On July 6th, 950, the General Administration of Customs appointed Zhao Jiahua as the Deputy Commissioner of Gongbei Customs to assist the military representatives in reforming the organizational structure and business system of the old customs.
195111On 2 October, the General Administration of Customs decided to reorganize Gongbei Customs into a branch of Gongbei Customs under Jiangmen Customs. /kloc-in March, 2000, Gongbei Customs Branch was established, and the branch was located in the former site of Guanzha. From Gongbei to Guanzha instead of Guanzha (Macau still keeps Guanzha).
