The Origin of Jade Buddha Temple
Jade Buddha Temple belongs to Cao Dongzong, which belongs to Han Buddhism. The temple was built in the first year of Qing Daoguang (182 1), and was donated by the local Cao Shi. Its predecessor was Baiyi Temple in Shaomen Temple, and it was later renamed Jade Buddha Temple for offering five large white marble Buddha statues in Myanmar. After the development of the abbot, the scale has been continuously expanded and it has become the Honghua Dojo. Historically, there have been many monks who are willing to do things in the temple, such as Master Zhong Cheng and Elder Ji Yun.
