Frontier inspection station is an administrative law enforcement management activity that the state inspects and supervises entry-exit personnel, vehicles, luggage and their belongings according to law through entry-exit frontier inspection organs (and entry-exit frontier inspection stations) located at ports open to the outside world. Its purpose is to safeguard national sovereignty and security, maintain the order of entry and exit at ports, and prevent and crack down on illegal entry and exit.
According to the reform of state institutions, the national public security frontier forces have been collectively transformed, and the frontier inspection organs have been officially changed from active frontier inspection organs to professional frontier inspection organs from 20 19 10, which are under the leadership of China National Immigration Administration (formerly People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Exit-Entry Administration), and all of them have been transferred to the people's police establishment.
