Qingyuanshan 1
Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area is an important part of Quanzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China, and also a national AAAAA tourist attraction. Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area is a hilly area with granite landform, with undulating terrain and rugged rocks. The highest elevation of the main scenic spot is 498 meters.
Qingyuan Mountain has beautiful natural scenery and exquisite human landscape, especially the spring eye on the mountain, which is called "Spring Mountain" and "Yun Qi Mountain" because of its high altitude. Qingyuan Mountain was first developed in Qin Dynasty, revived in Tang Dynasty and reached its peak in Song and Yuan Dynasties. After the development of past dynasties, a large number of cultural relics and historic sites have been left on the mountain. There are 7 stone carvings in Song and Yuan Dynasties, nearly 600 cliff stone carvings in past dynasties, and many stone chambers in Yuan and Ming Dynasties.
2. Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou
Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou is an important cultural relic along the southeast coast of China, a national AAAA tourist attraction and the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian Province. Kaiyuan Temple, located in Chengxi Street, was built in the second year of Tang Dynasty (AD 686). Kaiyuan Temple is 260 meters long from north to south and 300 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of 78,000 square meters, only one tenth of the original.
1962, Quanzhou Kaiyuan Temple was listed as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit; /kloc-0 was listed as the second batch of national key cultural relics protection units and national key Buddhist temples in March, 1983; 1986 was rated as the top ten scenic spots in the province. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), the government has allocated funds for its renovation for many times, and now it is brand-new and magnificent, attracting a large number of tourists from home and abroad to visit it every year.
3. Chongwu Ancient City in Quanzhou
Chongwu Ancient City is the only remaining stone city in China and a relatively complete historical relic in the history of coastal defense in China. It is a "national key cultural relics protection unit" and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.
It is said that in the Song Dynasty, this place was called the sacred place of Chongwu Township. In the third year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1370), a Japanese pirate group, which was active in the coastal areas of North Korea and China, suddenly landed on the Lijiang River in Xiangzhi, posing a threat to Quanzhou's public security. In the 20th year of Hongwu (A.D. 1387), Zhu Yuanzhang, the great ancestor of Ming Dynasty, appointed Jiang Xiahou and Zhou Dexing to inspect the southeast coast in order to defend against Japanese invasion.
At that time, Quanzhou set up Yongningwei, which governed Fuquan, Zhongzuo, Jinmen, Gaopu and Chongwu. There are five cities in Hui 'an, namely Chongwu City, Otter Cave City, Otaku City, Huang Qi City and Fengwei City. Chongwu City is one of the five cities, belonging to thousands of households around Yongning, Fujian. It has been built for more than 600 years.
