What does equity mean?
Legal analysis: Equity is a kind of property ownership. Shareholders own shares or shares of the company through legal means such as capital contribution or transfer, thus enjoying the transferable right to participate in the company's business decision-making and enjoy profit sharing. Equity is rich in content, mainly including:

(1) the right of shareholder identity;

(2) the right to participate in decision-making;

(3) the right to choose and supervise managers;

(4) the right to income from assets;

(5) the right to know;

(6) The right to propose, convene and preside over extraordinary shareholders' meetings;

(7) Give priority to the transfer and subscription of new shares;

(eight) the right to transfer capital contribution or shares;

(9) shareholders' litigation rights, etc.

Legal basis: Article 4 of the Company Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) Company enjoys the rights of earning assets, participating in major decisions and choosing managers according to law.
