Ningxiang No.4 Middle School, referred to as Ningxiang No.4 Middle School for short, is the second provincial demonstration ordinary high school in Ningxiang County. Founded in 1922, it is located in huaminglou, Ningxiang County, the hometown of President Liu Shaoqi, adjacent to Shaoshan, the former residence of President Mao Zedong, and adjacent to Changshaolou Expressway. The school has been relocated four times and renamed eight times, which has a glorious history of more than 90 years. The school covers an area of 180 mu, with a building area of over 60,000 square meters. At present, there are 0/79 faculty members/KLOC, 50 classes and nearly 3,000 students. The school has been awarded by provincial, municipal and county levels successively: Hunan Demonstration Ordinary High School, Hunan Garden-style Unit, Hunan Normal University Education and Teaching Experimental Research Base, Changsha Standardization School, Changsha Modern Educational Technology Experimental School, Changsha Track and Field Traditional Project School, Changsha Model Worker's Home and County-level Civilized Unit.
