According to Kangxi's "Funing County Records", "Longtan Gorge is majestic and beautiful, as strong as a cow's top, so it went to the cage." The main peak is 895 meters above sea level, which is the head of the East Five Mountains in Funing County, one of the five peaks, and also the head of the old "eight scenic spots" in Funing. There is a path to climb on the north side, across the ladder and cliff, and thousands of people hold the peak. There are temple ruins on the ground and a pair of longan in the southeast of Dingding. The water in the pool is crystal clear, sweet and refreshing, and hundreds of people can't even drink it. There is a century-old Zanthoxylum bungeanum by the pond, with grotesque branches and brilliant red leaves. The top is wide and flat, which can accommodate 10,000 people. Climbing high and overlooking, you can see mountains and rivers in all directions, fishing sails in Bohai Sea, sunrise at sea and night view of Qinhuangdao. Climbing to the top of this mountain is like being in Sendai, which is really a sense of heaven and earth. According to local people, when the weather is dry, longan asks for rain. In the past dynasties, dignitaries and literati often climbed this mountain, and the county magistrate, Wu and Liu visited it in the Qing Dynasty. Cheng Fu-ning, a magistrate in Ming Dynasty, and Cheng Fu-ning, a magistrate in Qing Dynasty, all climbed this mountain, leaving many poems. There is also a stone carving on the cliff of Daikin for 30 years, which is a rare original with clear handwriting and vigorous brushwork.
