The Historical Evolution of Zhangzhuang Town
1949 is Zhangzhuang District.

Zhangzhuang commune was founded in 1958.

1984 changed to Zhangzhuang District.

1987 changed to Zhangzhuang Township and Dalu Township.

1994, Zhangzhuang Township was abolished and Zhangzhuang Town was established.

1996, Zhangzhuang Town covers an area of 107.8 square kilometers with a population of 43,000. Jurisdiction over Zhangzhuang, Wei Zhuang Beishan, Maliangou West, Maliangou East, Maliangou North, Dongguozhuang, Dongbeiwa, Wei Zhuang, Wei Zhuang Nanshan, Baishishan, Xianqiao, Lishishan, Jiyuzhuang, Zhuzuishi, Heigang, Sangjiazhuang North, Sangjiazhuang South, Tonghua Seedling, Xu Jialing, Dongwangzhuang, Laoyatou and Houhan Shiqiao.

Dalu Township covers an area of 64.5 square kilometers and has a population of 24,000. It governs Dalu, Tian Jiagou, Fujiazhuang, Xidongjiazhuang, Dongdongjiazhuang, Xiaoyan, Konggou, Dongzhaozhuang, Xiwanggou, Dayan, Cuijiazhuang, Xinsi, Shangmoshiling, Xiamoshiling, Huwo, Niu Jiao, Xiliuyu, Yangjiazhuang, Huang Tu Cliff and Xiaoliu.
