The century-old history of Liu Hou Park can be divided into five stages:

1, in the late Qing dynasty-1906-1911Zhao Pingfan and Yang Daolin expanded Liu Hou Temple and built Liu Hou Park.

2. Early Republic of China-1912-1936 Liao Lei, Qin and Bai Chongxi renovated parks.

3. During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression-1937- 1945 (3.7 hectares).

4. New China was founded-the first wave of park expansion in 1970s.

5. Since the reform and opening up-the second wave of park expansion (15.52 hectares).
