Studying in Poland: an experience I have to say in Warsaw
2 1-09-20 10 I flew to Poland, a central European country, to study medicine with other students 12 on the recommendation of the Malaysian National Public Service Bureau (JPA). Unconsciously, I have left my hometown for half a year and experienced two seasons, namely autumn and winter. Now I have ushered in a beautiful spring! Warsaw, where I live, is an ancient city with a history of 700 years. It has been the capital of Poland since the end of16th century. It is the hometown of musician Chopin and the best green city in the world. After World War II, the Polish people rebuilt their capital on the ruins. After 40 years of construction, it has built a modern city with developed industry, advanced technology and practical green.

In Polish, Warsaw is pronounced Warszawa. The name is to commemorate the brave spirit of a couple named Warszawa who broke through many obstacles and finally got married. (Haha, romantic! )

Study life

My university is Warsaw Medical University, located in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Since Polish medicine can be divided into English and Polish, we (non-Poles) study medicine in English and Poles study medicine in Polish. And maybe everyone is a foreigner, so the students in the class (from Sweden, Norway, the United States, Italy, the Middle East, etc. ) will take care of each other and make each other warmer in cold days.

Histology, anatomy, embryology, medical chemistry, medical sociology and medical informatics are compulsory courses in my first year of medicine. Wow, a lot! But I think, if you have enough interest and ambition, you will be able to bear pain, depression and boredom. Hee hee!

I also learned basic Latin and Polish. Latin is to help me understand the names of drugs and bones. Moreover, Poland is convenient for me to communicate with patients in the future (because from the third year of high school, I will practice in a hospital).

What impressed me the most was the first anatomy class. Although everyone is not afraid of autopsy (because they came to school to study medicine, they have already made full mental preparations, and after long-term theoretical study and observation of system organ specimens in the school, a complete corpse is a combination of ten system organs for everyone, just to dissect and observe the real thing with their own hands), but the doctor's medical ethics is very important, and it can be said that medical ethics is the first, followed by medical skills. The training of doctors begins with human anatomy. "

Learning to ask questions is also very important in your study career. Although the teacher will point out the maze, many problems will be solved by our own research ability and learning ability. Before asking questions, you can solve them yourself. Because if the teacher thinks that you should understand some problems yourself, he will only give you a suggestion or tell you where to find information.

Of course, studying is not my only task in Poland. The European continent is a good place for holidays, and of course it also takes the right time, place and people to travel. Enjoy all kinds of things brought by this lifestyle, should it be our study abroad? Life? .

The European continent is a very attractive place, and there are too many places worth visiting. There are many tourist attractions in little Warsaw, among which I have been to Plac Zamkowy, Rynek Staregomia, the mermaid statue (Syrena) and the Holy Cross Church (Sw. Kriza). It is worth mentioning that the hearts of Polish pianist Chopin and Nobel Prize in Literature-winning novelist Raymond are buried in Holy Cross Church. Of course, most of the public transport systems in Warsaw are suburban trains (trams), subways (subways), light rails and buses, which are very convenient. Welcome to Warsaw for a tour!

These days in a foreign country, I am living in another way, which brings me not only some academic knowledge or a survival skill, but also an attitude towards life. I hope that after six years, I can do my best to get rid of human diseases, help improve my health and safeguard the sanctity and honor of my medical skills. Heal the wounded and rescue the dying, work tirelessly and persistently, and strive for the development of medical and health undertakings and the physical and mental health of mankind for life.
