Historical evolution of JIAOZHOU
In jiaozhou city, there is a Sanlihe cultural site, which combines Dawenkou culture and Longshan culture in the Neolithic age.
From the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period, there were countries such as Ju and Jie in the city. At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, Ji and Jie merged into Qi.
In the twenty-sixth year of the Qin Dynasty (the first 22 years1year), Langxie County was established in Qianqi County (now Xiahe City, Jiaonan).
In the Western Han Dynasty, in addition to Qianqi County, there were Miracle County (where Jinji City was ruled) and Yixian County (where Qianqi Village is now Puji Town).
Xin Mang was renamed as Chunde County) and Houguo (the Trojan horse town in today's Richard Township was ruled out when Xin Mang was ruled). All belong to Langye County (now the seat of Zhucheng).
In the 13th year of Jianwu in the Eastern Han Dynasty (37 years), Yixian and Xianxian were abandoned, and their land was merged into Qianqi County, and a county was established (the old records were lost and the address was unknown). Qianqi and Gelu counties belong to Donglai County of Qingzhou Secretariat (located in the west of Longkou City); In the third year of Jian 'an (198), Qianqi County belonged to Chengyang County (now Zhucheng City).
During the Cao Wei period of the Three Kingdoms, Qianqi County was subordinate to Chengyang County of Qingzhou.
In the tenth year of Taikang in the Western Jin Dynasty (289), Chengyang County moved to Qianqiao County, and in the sixth year of Yuankang (296), Chengyang County moved to Gaomi Kingdom, with its capital in Qianqiao, and its location moved to the west bank of Jiaohe River (located in the northwest of Puji Town), which was called "Qianqiao West City" in history.
