Tianjin Museum is a national patriotic education base for young people. Yinhe Square is located at the intersection of Youyi Road and Pingjiang Road in Hexi District, Tianjin. It is a large-scale comprehensive art history museum that displays the ancient art of China and the development history of Tianjin. In 2004, it was merged by Tianjin History Museum and Tianjin Art Museum.
The museum covers an area of about 47,000 square meters and has a modern exhibition hall of 1 1000 square meters. There are 200,000 pieces of cultural relics in the collection, including bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, jade articles, seals, inkstones, Oracle bones, coins, stamps and other handed down cultural relics and historical documents, local folk crafts and cultural relics unearthed in Tianjin, among which China ancient ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, inkstones, coins, modern historical relics and documents are the most prominent. In addition, there are more than 200,000 kinds of professional books and materials. There are a series of special exhibitions of ancient works of art in the museum, such as large-scale historical theme exhibitions, large-scale cultural relics theme exhibitions, century-old cultural relics exhibitions, China ancient porcelain decoration art exhibitions, China ancient calligraphy exhibitions, Ming and Qing poetry exhibitions and China Gu Yan art exhibitions, which show Tianjin's heavy history and profound China culture. Among them, the large-scale historical theme exhibition "Looking at Tianjin in China in a Hundred Years" adopts three-dimensional display techniques, and strives to show a true and complete Tianjin through the centralized display of a large number of precious cultural relics, documents and historical photos. The exhibition of cultural relics in the centennial collection revealed the historical characteristics and profound strength of Tianjin's cultural relics collection through the exhibition of 107 cultural relics. In addition, the lobby on the first floor of the museum is a shared space, with service facilities such as ticket office, consultation office, museum map, multi-function hall, audience information office, escalator for the disabled, elevator, and coffee shop, which reflects the humanistic care of the museum.
