What is the history of paper?
The history of paper is as follows:

Babylonian civilization in the two river basins used clay tablets to write characters, while ancient Indians used bark and leaves to record them. China first used Oracle Bone Inscriptions, and then used bamboo slips, wooden slips and silk books to write.

From 65438 to 0957, papers from the Western Han Dynasty were unearthed in Baqiao, the eastern suburb of Xi, Shaanxi. The fiber texture of Baqiao paper is not enough for the proportion of "paper". To some extent, like Egyptian papyrus, only the stacking and bonding of fibers can not meet the standard of paper.

It was not until the Eastern Han Dynasty that Cai Lun began to make paper. When the Han Dynasty and the emperor were in power, Cai Lun presented the paper made of bark, linen and fishing nets to the emperor and got a reward. So at that time, everyone called paper "Cai Hou Paper".

During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the famous Xuan paper was born. On the basis of dyed yellow paper in the previous Tang Dynasty, wax was evenly coated on the paper, which was called hard yellow paper. During the period of Kanggan, pastel paper, printing paper, painting paper and dyed paper appeared. The production of paper reached a perfect level in the Qing Dynasty.
