After bidding farewell to the villagers and returning to Shanghai, I think we should let the educated youth friends in Shanghai who couldn't make it share our impression of returning to Shirengou. Looking at the photos and videos taken in Yanbian and Shirengou at that time, my mind was filled with emotion and it was difficult to calm down.

From time to time, the scene at that time came to mind. The voices and smiles of fellow villagers, the passion, noise and laughter at that time all came to mind, just like what just happened.

They witnessed the soaring of the motherland.

In my mind, Yanji 1969 and 2006 have disappeared. In 2006, I also found the former site of Jilin Forestry Construction Company (a three-story building on Changbai Mountain Road) recruited by197/kloc-0. According to local people, it was demolished in 2007 and replaced by a more beautiful building. The border town of the motherland is so enchanting and beautiful that it is conceivable that other places have experienced the same reform and opening up for more than 30 years. It is said that Shirengou Reservoir is the second largest water source in Yanji City. The local government attaches great importance to protecting the trees in the upper reaches of the water source, closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation and returning farmland to forests. I saw that several hills near the original Stone Man Brigade were almost cut off by the first, second and seventh teams of the original Stone Man Brigade. This time, I looked at the lush trees and turned green at first sight. Shirengou really presents beautiful natural scenery everywhere. If Shirengou is developed, the old style of Shirengou may be even harder to find, which will make us old educated youths even more lost!
