The establishment and evolution of Xietang Street
In the first year of Wang Yi (585 BC), Xietang belonged to Wu.

Zhou Yuanwang Rende for three years, Wu Fu Cha for twenty-three years, and Gou Jian for twenty-four years (before 473), the State of Yue destroyed Wu, and Xietang returned to the State of Yue.

In the ninth year of Zhou Nanwang extension and the twenty-third year of Chu Huaiwang (306 BC), the State of Chu perished, and the inclined pond was returned to the State of Chu.

In the twenty-sixth year of Qin Shihuang (22 1 BC), the state of Qin pacified the south of Chu River, and then placed it in Huiji County, governing Wuxian County, and Xietang belonged to Wuxian County.

In the third year of Qin Ershi (207 BC), Xiang Yu became the overlord of the West Chu, and the inclined pond was returned to Chu.

In the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu (202 BC), Xiang Yu was defeated. Wuxian was successively the fief of Han Xin, Liu Jia, King of Jing, Ying Bu, King of Huainan and Liu Ying, and Xietang was successively the fief of the above kings.

In the second year of Han Xingping (AD 195), Sun Ce occupied Wu Jun, and Xietang belonged to Wu Dong.

During the Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Xietang belonged to the Western Jin, Eastern Jin, Song, Qi, Liang and Chen.

During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, there were ten roads and inclined ponds in the country, belonging to Jiangnan Road.

An analysis of the first year of Wu Zetian's longevity in Tang Dynasty (AD 696): Changzhou County is where Wuxian is located, and the inclined pond belongs to Changzhou County.

In the 21st year of Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty (AD 733), Jiangnan Road was divided into east and west roads, and the inclined pond was under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan East Road.

In the Five Dynasties, in the first year of Kaiping, Hou Liang (AD 907), Qian Liu was named Wuwangyue, and Xietang belonged to Qian Liu and Wuwangyue. After the fall of Qian Liu to Song Dynasty, the inclined pond belonged to Pingjiang government in Song Dynasty.

During the Yuanfeng period of the Northern Song Dynasty, there were three levels of institutions in the county, namely, Dubao, Dabao and Baobao, and Changzhou County had 19 township capitals, so Chen Gong Township appeared. Xietang belongs to Chen Gong Township.

Inclined pond in Yuan Dynasty, Pingjiang Daozhi in Yuan Dynasty. In the 23rd year of Yuan Dynasty, Zhang Shicheng was the king of Wu, and Pingjiang City (now Suzhou City) was established as its capital.

In the first year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1368), Pingjiang Road was changed to Suzhou House, and the inclined pond belonged to Chen Gong Township (Jinqili) in Changzhou County, Suzhou House in the Ming Dynasty. Chen Gong Township (Jinqili) has jurisdiction over twenty-four capitals, twenty-five capitals and twenty-five capitals in the inclined pond. Xietang Tomb is one of the five major markets in the early Ming Dynasty, and it is called the Tomb City.

In the second year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (AD 1724), Changzhou County belonged to Yuanhe County, and Xietang belonged to Chen Gong Township (Jinqili) in Fuyuan County, Suzhou.

In the tenth year of Xianfeng (AD 1860), Xietang belonged to Sufu Province of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.

In October of the first year of the Republic of China (A.D. 19 12), Suzhou was abandoned, and Wuxian, Changzhou and Yuanhe counties were named Wuxian. In June of the same year 165438+ 10, Wuxian county was divided into seven cities and 21 townships according to the "temporary city and township system", and "Xietang Township" was established in Xietang. At that time, "Xietang" appeared as the name of the administrative system.

In August of the Republic of China 18 (A.D. 1929), Wuxian implemented the district and township system, and the two townships of Xietang Vehicle Workshop merged to form the Chexie District (also known as the 13th district of Wuxian, the district office set up an inclined pond, which was called the town for the first time. Xietang belongs to the 13th District of Wuxian County (Chebei District).

In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1934), in June, Wuxian redrawn the districts and towns and withdrew from the oblique areas. The inclined pond belongs to District 10 of Wuxian County (also known as Luzhi District, Figure 3), and the regional department has Luzhi. Xietang has one town and four townships: Xietang Town, Lianmu Township, Jinmiao Township, xia zhuang Township and Li Chang Township. On March 28th, Xietang Township Office was established.

In March, 29, the government of Wuxian County, Wang Puppet, changed the township into a district according to the order of the provincial government of Wang Puppet, and all the towns and villages were abolished, taking the place name as the district name, and Xietang Township was changed into Xietang District. In 65438+ February of the same year, it was re-established as Xietang Township.

In the thirty-fourth year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1945), Xietang belonged to the tenth district of Wuxian County (Luzhi District), with one town and four townships.

In March of the 36th year of the Republic of China (AD 1947), Songbei District was established in Wuxian County, and its regional office was located in Xietang (later moved to the vehicle workshop).

In the thirty-seventh year of the Republic of China (AD 1948), in February 1 to 15, Wuxian was merged into a township. Xietang Township and Longdun Township are merged into Xietang Town, which is under the jurisdiction of Songbei District, and Xietang Town is a first-class town in Songbei District. In May of the same year, Songbei District and Songnan District merged, called Wusong District, and the regional department was established. Xietang Town was under the jurisdiction of Wusong District until 1950.

Shaxu, Fengli, Tianxiang, Tangqiao, Zhou Nan, Xima and other villages east of Xietang are located from the south bank of Husha Lake to the north bank of Wusong River. Ming, Qing and the early years of the Republic of China were under the jurisdiction of Wugong Township (reigning) in Yuanhe County, and the townships were all twenty-one capitals. In the 20th year of the Republic of China (193 1), Shaxu, Tanzili, Fengli, Liu Xi Lane and Zhou Nan Township were established in the above-mentioned areas, which were under the jurisdiction of Wuxian District 9 (Weiting District). In 23 years of the Republic of China, these townships merged into riverside townships, still belonging to Weiting District.

In 36 years (A.D. 1947), Bian Jiang Township was placed under the jurisdiction of Songbei District.

In February of 37 (AD 1948), Bian Jiang Township was merged into Songbei Township, which belonged to Songbei District. In May of the same year, Songbei District and Songnan District merged into Wusong District, and riverside township was under the jurisdiction of Wusong District. Until 1950, Jianguo Village in Xietang belonged to the 24th capital of Chen Gong Township (Jinqili) in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was under the jurisdiction of Fengjing and Loudong Township in Weiting District in the Republic of China. Sangtian Village in Xietang belonged to the 26th capital of Tai Su Township (Zhenfengli) in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and belonged to Banqiao Township in the 10th district of Wuxian County and Welfare Town in the south of Songnan District in the Republic of China.

Xietang, Bei Tang and Wusong are under the jurisdiction of Weiting District, and Weiting District Government has Weiting.

1956 March, Wuxian 108 townships merged into 57 townships. Weiting and Luzhi merged into Weiting District, and Wusong Township in Xietang and Songbei Township in Weiting merged into Wusong Township, still belonging to Weiting District. Xietang, Bei Tang Township and a part of the original cross-south township were merged into Xietang Township, and Tangnan, Dudong Township and Henggang Township in Chefang District were merged into Tangnan Township. It was at this time that the establishment of "Middle Township" in history began. Xietang and Tangnan "Zhongxiang" are under the jurisdiction of Chefang District.

1March, 957, Wuxian withdrew from the district and merged with the township. The original 57 townships in Wuxian are divided into 23 townships and 2 towns directly under the jurisdiction. Three townships in the "Middle Township" period: all Xietang Township, most of Tangnan Township and Wusong Township merged into Xietang Township, which was under the jurisdiction of Wuxian People's Government. In history, the establishment of "big township" began at this time, and its area is roughly the same as today, and it has remained basically unchanged for decades.

From August 1958 to August 10/0, Wuxian changed its township into a commune. On September 25th of the same year, Xietang established the People's Commune, which was called Xietang People's Commune in Wuxian County, and the commune management committee was established. The former advanced agricultural production cooperatives and newly-built fishery production cooperatives were all transformed into production brigades, and production teams (commonly known as "production teams") were set up below the production brigade. From then to the 1960s and early 1980s, the two-tier system of clubs and teams remained basically unchanged.

1in July, 1983, the system was reformed and the government and society were separated. The original rural people's commune, which was integrated with politics and society, remained as an economic entity and was called the commune economic joint committee. At the same time, the township government was established, and the production brigade and production team were changed to administrative villages and villagers' groups.

1February, 1994, Xietang was withdrawn from the township to build a town, which was still under the jurisdiction of Wuxian County in the same year. On May 7th, Xietang Town was transferred from Wuxian to Suzhou Industrial Park.

199510/October 26th, 20 square kilometers south of Xietang River (12 administrative village) is a self-development area of Xietang Town, which is called Xietang District of Suzhou Industrial Park.

On February 23, 2002, Xietang Town of Suzhou Industrial Park was cancelled due to zoning adjustment, and the original jurisdiction was merged into Loufeng Town of Suzhou Industrial Park.
