history

Leling has a long history. Judging from the cultural relics unearthed at Wulizhong and HuiZhong Wang sites, clans and tribes lived together as early as 4,000 years ago. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Qi and Yan met, Qin hated Qi, and the Western Han Dynasty established the county regime. The subordinate relationship of the past dynasties has been changed repeatedly, and the county government has been moved several times. The information is uneven and many places are unclear. According to historical records, historical records, old records and cultural relics unearthed underground, the textual research is as follows: it belongs to the territory of ancient Yanzhou with the Yao, Shun and Yu period. Xia and Shang belong to Maiqiuyi, the boundary of Qingzhou. "Leling Land" ("Leling Land" before the county refers to the present Leling area, the same below) belongs to its territory. The Western Zhou Dynasty belongs to Maiqiu City, Youzhou. "Leling Land" is in the middle of its territory. The Eastern Zhou Dynasty belongs to Maiqiu City of Qi State. Leling Land is the junction of Qi State and Yan State. Jibei County in Qin and Wei Dynasties belongs to Keats County, and "Leling Land" is its northern border. The Western Han Dynasty belongs to Qingzhou secretariat, a plain county. In 202 BC (the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu), the county was founded and ruled by Dewey. "Shandong Tongzhi" published by Xuan Tong in the Qing Dynasty said: "The old city is twenty-five miles southeast of the county seat ... now it is called Wei Wangcheng." The address is in the north of Dagujia Village, Liuwuguan Township. The rule in the early Eastern Han Dynasty was the same as that in the Western Han Dynasty. By AD 220 (twenty-five years of Jian 'an), Dongling County was established and moved with it. In the Qing Dynasty, the Archaeological Record of Wu Dingfu Monument in Shandong Province contained: "The old town of Leling is thirty miles southwest of Leling, and its city is more than ten feet high, on Wednesday." The Ming Dynasty's Records of Jiajing Wuding contains: "Leling County, the third leading county, Rileling (the same county) ...", "Houyi, the old city is thirty miles southwest of Leling County, Shandong Province." According to the water mirror, Tuma River, that is, "originated in the east of Yang Xu County, crossed Pingyuan County in the north, crossed Ande County in the northeast, crossed Leling County in the east, crossed Chuxiang County in the northeast, crossed Maling City in the northeast, and crossed Fuping County in the east, so it is called north and divided into two waters." Accordingly, the city should be in Kuitaipei, southwest of the county seat. The Three Kingdoms changed the group to Leling State and became a county (now Shaochengwa, Yangxin County).
