Fan Kuai's ending was natural death.

Fan Kuai was born in Surabaya at the end of Qin Dynasty, Lv Hou's brother-in-law, the founding father of the Western Han Dynasty, and the military commander. Fan Kuai was born in poverty, and his early occupation was killing dogs. He had a close relationship with Liu Bang. He once hid in Mangdang Mountain with Liu Bang, and together with Xiao He, he pushed Liu Bang to rise up against Qin. Later, he was almost punished because he was Lv Hou's brother-in-law. After Liu Bang's death, Lv Hou released Fan Kuai and restored his title and fief. In the sixth year of Emperor Xiaohui, Fan Kuai died of natural causes.

The most brilliant moment in Fan Kuai's life was at the Hongmen banquet. He broke into the camp and blamed Xiang Yu for saving Liu Bang. The Battle of Gaixia, in which Fan Kuai participated, was a landmark turning point in the history of China, with far-reaching influence. It is listed as one of the seven ancient battles in the world and is known as "Waterloo in the East".
