Magemiao

Master Temple includes Hong Ren Temple, "First Mountain" Temple, Zhengjue Zen Forest, Guanyin Pavilion and other buildings. Originally named "Tian Fei Temple (Palace)" in the Ming Dynasty, when it was rebuilt in the eighth year of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty (1828), a mountain gate was added, with the forehead named "Mazu Pavilion", which is commonly known as "Mazu Pavilion" by Chinese people and also called "Zhengjue Zen Forest".

The buildings of the Master Temple were built in different periods, and the whole Master Temple didn't take shape until the eighth year of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty (1828). Hong Ren Temple was built in the first year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1488). The existing lintel has the words "Hong Ren Temple", and the inscription next to it is eight years of Qing Daoguang (1828). This temple is a small stone temple dedicated to the queen of heaven. There are physical objects to test in the temple, and the oldest is the "First Temple of the Holy Mountain". The temple dedicated to the Tianhou Palace was built by a joint venture between the government and businessmen at that time in 1605 (thirty-three years of Wanli in Ming Dynasty) and rebuilt in 1629 (two years of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty). There are still stone carvings at the entrance of Liang Shi when it was first built. Therefore, Ma Ge Temple is the oldest existing temple in Macao with clear physical objects for examination, and it is also the oldest preserved primitive building in Macao.

The architectural age of Guanyin Pavilion cannot be traced back. There is a wooden plaque rebuilt in the eighth year of Qing Daoguang (1828), so Guanyin Pavilion should have been built before. Guanyin is enshrined in the pavilion.

Moorish barracks

The Port Authority Building was originally named QuarteldosMouros, which was designed by an Italian named Cassuto. Built in 1874, it was put into use in August of that year as a camp for Indians who went to Macao as policemen in 1873. According to records, the spacious barracks of the barracks have good ventilation conditions and there are 200 rooms for soldiers and officers. You can see the open space around the building from the hall, and the scenery is extremely beautiful. At 1905, it was changed to the offices of the port authority and the marine police. It is now the office building of the Port Authority of the Macao SAR Government.

Wenhua's house

Zhengjiadawu was built around 188 1, which is the ancestral home of Zheng, a famous thinker in modern China, and was built by his father Zheng. Later, the descendants of Zheng were scattered, and the big house was not completely maintained and rebuilt for a long time, but the building was completely preserved. The Cultural Bureau took over the big house in July, 20001,and began to carry out maintenance works according to its original appearance.

San Lorenzo, Lucina

Built about 1569, it was originally a wooden structure and is one of the three ancient churches in Macao. The church was rebuilt several times and completed on 1846. The church is regarded as the patron saint of the church of S.Lourenco. Because it is close to the South Bay, in the past, when Portuguese ships returned to Australia for trade, their families would stand on the steps of the church and call for waiting, praying for a smooth sailing and a safe return. Therefore, the church is commonly known as "St. Lawrence Church".
