On April 23rd, in Qingdao, the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy "Nanchang" (ship number 10 1) participated in the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Navy. Nanchang Ship is the first ship of the 055 10,000-ton destroyer, and officially entered the service on June 65438+1October 02, 2020. As the first ship of Type 055 destroyer independently developed by China, Nanchang Ship broke through a series of key technologies such as the overall design of large ships, marking the leap from the third generation to the fourth generation of naval destroyers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
Type 055 destroyer is a new type of 10,000-ton destroyer independently developed by China, and it is the destroyer with the largest displacement in the navy. Type 055 ship has successively broken through a series of key technologies such as overall design, information integration and final assembly construction of large ships, equipped with new air defense, anti-missile, anti-ship and anti-submarine weapons, and has strong information perception, air defense and anti-missile and sea attack capabilities. It is a landmark warship for the navy to achieve strategic transformation and development.
Historical background of destroyer Nanchang;
In the early 1980s, in order to reassess the international strategic situation and give priority to economic development, China began to adjust a large number of new equipment projects under development. The 055 large artillery guided missile destroyer was changed from the officially developed model to the pre-developed model. Due to the shortage of funds, manpower and development resources, the development of the 055 ship was actually put on hold. In 1990s, China's shipbuilding industry department designed and built the 05 1B destroyer Shenzhen Ship, which took the lead in applying a number of new technological achievements and passed the inspection on the voyage of Yuanhai.
In the same period, China's navy also purchased and imported four Type 956 destroyers from Russia in two batches. On the basis of introducing some ship-borne weapons and gas turbine power plants, and relying on the overall technology of Shenzhen ship, two 052B destroyers, Guangzhou ship and Wuhan ship, were designed and built and put into service in 2004.
In June 5438+1October and February 65438+February, 2005, the first batch of 052C destroyers, Lanzhou and Haikou, equipped with large-scale active phased array radar and ship-to-air missile vertical launching system, were delivered to the Navy, which truly formed the regional air defense combat capability of the China Navy, and then the 052D destroyer was upgraded and built on the basis of the 052C. The new progress in China's shipbuilding laid the foundation for restarting the development of new large destroyers.
