1942, Guangxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Medicine Plantation were established as student practice bases.

1945 In September, Guangxi College of Medicine was renamed Nanning Higher Vocational School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangxi Province, which was the only public Chinese medicine school in China at that time to train senior talents of traditional Chinese medicine at undergraduate level.

1956 School resumed, and Nanning Chinese Medicine School and Wuzhou Chinese Medicine School were established one after another.
