In July 1958, it was expanded to Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the beginning of the school, there were only 6 full-time teachers and 89 full-time teachers in 1966. After the Cultural Revolution, Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine merged with Fujian Medical College and moved to Quanzhou, renamed Fujian Medical University. 1972 after the establishment of Chinese medicine department, the school began to recruit students majoring in Chinese medicine.
1978, the school moved back to Fuzhou. In the same year, 1 1, the State Council approved the reopening of Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and built a school building in Wu Si North Road, Fuzhou. 1994, the school has departments of traditional Chinese medicine, orthopedics, acupuncture and massage, traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine, and public foundation, with 4 undergraduate majors, 4 specialist majors and 5 master's programs. There are more than 0/300 faculty members/kloc-,including more than 70 senior positions/kloc-,and more than 250 intermediate positions.
20 10 On February 3rd, Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was upgraded to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine after being audited by the Ministry of Education. On March 20 10, it was renamed Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
