Guanglu Township has a long history. The lower cultural site of Xiaozhushan belongs to the same period as Shenyang Xinle culture, and it is one of the earliest Neolithic cultural sites discovered in Dalian, which is a provincial and municipal key protected cultural relic. There are also cultural and historical landscapes such as Mazu Tempel and Koryo Tomb, especially the famous Mazu Tempel in Liaodong Peninsula, which was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. Every Mazu's birthday, that is, on June 16th of the lunar calendar, fishermen and tourists from all over the country gather here like a flood, praying for good weather, peace and harmony.
