The school was founded in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940) on June 4th, and its name was Guode County Ethnic Middle School. The school system is 2 years, and the school is located in Xinxu Village, Taiping Town. 3 1 year (1942) moved to the county (now the county water conservancy bureau). 33 years, 1 class, 54 students attached to the middle school teacher, one year, only one session. The following year, the name of the school was changed to Guode County Junior High School, with a schooling period of 3 years, and it was suspended for 38 years in the War of Liberation 1 year.

After liberation, there were 6 classes, 220 students and 22 faculty members in junior high school. 195 1 may, the school name is Pingguo No.1 junior high school. 1955 in the spring, in order to strengthen the party building and leadership in the school, the party organization appointed party member as the school principal. 1956 September began to recruit students from 1 17 senior three classes, renamed Pingguo Middle School, and became the first middle school in the county. 1957, the school moved to the foot of Hongqi Mountain, and now it is the school site.
