This book is written to meet the needs of teaching general history of the century in various adult education. The content began in primitive society and ended in the end of World War II. The book consists of three parts: the first part is the history of ancient medieval times, the second part is the modern history of the world, and the third part is the modern history of the world, which discusses the major events in various stages of the development of human society. Guided by the basic principles of Marxism, this book expounds the main historical facts in detail, so that students can master basic historical knowledge, roughly understand the universal laws and special circumstances of world historical development, and help students establish a scientific world outlook.
About the author?
Mr. Qiao Mingshun, whose name is Shu Ruo, born in Luancheng County, Hebei Province on June 22, 2006, with the number 1965438. Former vice chairman of China Latin American Historical Society, vice chairman of Hebei Provincial Historical Society, editorial board member of the series "History of Sino-US Relations in China", and director of the World History Teaching and Research Section of the History Department of Hebei University. 1935 was admitted to the History Department of Fu Jen Catholic University. 1939 He entered the Institute of History of Fu Jen Catholic University and studied world history under Stuart (German). Because of the death of Situzi, it was transferred to the famous historian Chen Yuan, and became the master's thesis of China's history "Water Transport in Song Dynasty". Because of his excellent academic performance, he stayed in school to teach after graduation. 1944 promoted to lecturer. 65438-0947 received a scholarship from the School of History, University of Nottingham, USA, to pursue a doctorate. He is the first person in the United States to receive a doctorate (doctor of philosophy) in the history of Sino-US relations from China. During my study, I worked part-time in the Chicago Museum. 1954 After returning to China, he first taught in Tianjin 18 Middle School, and 1956 transferred to Tianjin Normal University (the predecessor of Hebei University). 1962 was promoted to associate professor. 1979 promoted to professor.
