Xu Mulan 1

4. Xu Run

Xu Run (1838-1911), also known as a chapter, is called Rain, also known as Yuzhai. Guangzhou fu, Guangdong (now Beiling Village, Zhuhai, Guangdong), a native of Beiling Township, Xiangshan County, was a famous comprador, businessman and national industrialist in modern China. Together with Tang and Zheng, he was called the "Four Compradors" in the late Qing Dynasty.

He founded the first insurance company and the first machine printing factory in China. He also participated in the establishment and operation of China Merchants, the first shipping enterprise in China's modern history, and Kaiping Mining Bureau, the first mechanized large coal mine in China.

Huang is the son-in-law of Cheng Qian.
