Brief introduction of go on road trip in Xishan, Taihu Lake
The West Hill of Taihu Lake in Suzhou is the largest inner lake island in China at present. The island is extremely rich in natural resources, and every place is full of infinite vitality and passion, giving people a dreamy daydream space. The road around the island has been repaired, which is very suitable for go on road trip experience.

Xishan, located on the bank of Taihu Lake, more than 40 kilometers southwest of Suzhou ancient city, Jiangsu Province, is also called Xishan of Taihu Lake. It is the largest island in China's freshwater lakes, with an area of 82 square kilometers, of which the east-west length is about 15 kilometers and the north-south length is about 1 1 kilometer. Now it is renamed Jinting Town, which belongs to Wuzhong District, Suzhou City.

There are about 30 islands in the whole Xishan Mountain, among which villagers live in four islands: Xidongting Mountain, Hengshan Island, Yinshan Island and Yeshan Island all the year round. Of course, some islands are uninhabited or inhabited by only a few families, but they are relatively small and few people know about them.

The whole Xishan Mountain has a long history and many places of interest. There are many rare ancient buildings in Jiangsu. If you want to go to Xishan by car, you can follow the next route.

First stop: the uninhabited village near Taihu Bridge.

Before entering the Western Hills, we all have to pass the Taihu Bridge. There is an island between the second and third sections of Taihu Bridge called Yeshan Island, and there is a village next to Yeshan Island called Xuwan Ancient Village. It was built 400 years ago.

However, due to the overall relocation of the villagers, the village is now in an unmanned state. There are still some buildings from the Qing Dynasty in the village, but for some reasons, there is an aunt at the entrance of the village. Unless they are villagers, others can't get in at all, so they can only watch from a distance in the parking lot.

Second stop: abandoned power plant and abandoned cement plant near Linwu Road.

On the way to Jinting Town, if you walk on Linwu Road, you may find a tall chimney next to a Soviet-style building. This was a power plant in the 1960s, which was abandoned because it could only be used in coal mines.

Although it is a dangerous building now, if it is rebuilt, it is still very suitable as a place to take pictures and punch in. Of course, whether it is made by the Soviet Union or Suzhou local company is still controversial.

There is also an abandoned cement plant, which can also be seen near the power plant. This is also a place where you can shoot big movies in the air. Those who are interested can go and have a look.

Third stop: Hengshan Island or Yinshan Island for one night.

These two islands are very primitive islands, and most of them are local villagers. Living here, you can enjoy the sunset and sunrise in Taihu Lake, which is very comfortable. Besides watching the sunrise, there are many houses on the island that are quite worth visiting.

There are some century-old houses on Hengshan Island, and there is a thousand-year-old camphor tree at the entrance of Yinshan Island, both of which are very good places. It is also a very good enjoyment to taste Taihu farmers and feel the scenery of Taihu Lake here.

Fourth stop: watch the sunset

In Suzhou Xishan, the most beautiful time is the afternoon sunset. At this time, you can find a place to watch the sunset in Yueming Bay, or watch the sunset in the free parking lot in Sheng Da. If you can meet a beautiful sunset, it must be one of the greatest happiness in this life!

Fifth stop: Dongcun Ancient Village

This is a relatively large-scale ancient village in Xishan. There are many historical buildings in the village. One of the most famous is the local worship hall, where the golden house hides the charming.

The whole building is very distinctive, and Liu Jin Mansion is very rare among the ancient buildings in China. However, because it is the private residence of a family of six, it costs 10 yuan to get in. A well-preserved and free ancient village like Dongcun is rare not only in Suzhou, but also in Jiangsu.

Of course, in Xishan, there are some places where you can go or not. You can do it according to your own mood. For example, the Great Sage mentioned just now stands the largest Guanyin statue in Jiangsu. If you worship Buddha, you can go and see it.

There is also Chaifang Cave Scenic Area, which is called the ninth cave. These are all charging items, and there are not many famous scenic spots such as Shigong Mountain and Dimly discernible Peak.

If you go to Xishan, the best way to travel is naturally by car. If you like riding horses, it's a good way to travel. It's really inconvenient to take public transportation.

Regarding food and shelter in Xishan, I think that if you want to live by the lake, the homestays are basically more than two or three hundred, which will not be lower than this price. Eating at the farmhouse, not counting the big dish, is normal for three or four cauliflowers 100 yuan.

If you consider the price, you can eat in Jinting Town. After all, the whole Xishan Mountain is not big, and it is not far from BB to Jinting Town.

By the way, this time we went to Xishan by car, and we also saw the freezing of Taihu Lake, which is really a very rare sight. The frozen Taihu Lake is really beautiful! But it's not so cold now, so I don't think I can see it.
