The Development History of Meilong Town
Meilong Hotel is an old-fashioned hotel in Yongcheng, located in Ming Kai Street in the city center. Founded in 1940, it has a history of more than half a century. When 1965 was rebuilt, it was named "Chunlai Wei Bei Hotel", and 1986 restored the old signboard of "Meilong Town".

The name "Meilong Town" comes from Zhu Houzun of Zheng De, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty. It is said that he has been to a place called Meilong Town in Shaanxi. I see restaurants and teahouses everywhere and the streets are very prosperous. The emperor praised it after eating, drinking and having fun. Meilong town became famous for a time, and restaurants all over the country rushed to attract customers with its name. Therefore, there are signs everywhere in Meilong Town, only one in Ningbo.

In the tide of reform and opening up, the scale of Meilong Town Hotel has expanded rapidly. 1987 and 199 1 year, the adjacent Dong Zhe Hotel and Ningbo Cake Group Factory were merged, and the business area was expanded to more than 3,000 square meters, with an investment of 3 million yuan for renovation and expansion.
