1. First, open the computer version of WeChat and log in.

Click the settings icon in the upper left corner of the interface.

2. Check "Save Chat Record" in the setting interface, and the chat record will be saved on the computer.

3. After saving the chat record, save it in the document folder "D:\ Documents \ WeChat Files\ WeChat" on our computer.

Change the method of saving the path:

1. Log in to the computer version of WeChat, as shown in the figure, and click to enter the settings.

Then select General Settings.

2. We see file management and choose to change.

3. I chose WeChat on disk C, which is a new folder I created myself. If I don't create a new folder, it will also generate a WeChat Files folder by itself.

Restart WeChat to take effect, and click OK.

4. After confirmation, this dialog box will pop up and start copying files from the document.
