Dangtu county No.2 Middle School in Ma 'anshan City, Anhui Province was founded by patriotic businessman Xu Yu 192 1, and has gone through nearly 90 years. The process of running a school changes with the development of the times, and the basic development stages are as follows:

192 1 year-1937 was named dangtu county Private Ren Jing Vocational Middle School.

1937 ——1953 was named dangtu county Ren Jing junior high school.

1953 ——1958 was rated as dangtu county No.1 junior high school.

1958 ——1962 was named Dangtu Middle School.

1962 ——1968 was named dangtu county junior high school.

1968 ——1980 was named Dangtu Workers and Peasants Middle School.

Since 1980, it has been renamed Dangtu No.2 Middle School in Anhui Province.

20 1 1 is the 90th anniversary of Dangtu No.2 Middle School.

Now it is a provincial demonstration high school in Anhui Province, a municipal demonstration high school in Maanshan City, a city green school, a county civilized unit and an excellent education practice base school in a normal university.

In recent 90 years, the scale of the school has been expanding and cultural resources have been accumulating, especially in recent years, the school has developed more rapidly. In August 2009, in order to better optimize the education and teaching resources, the county government rationally planned and integrated the urban teaching resources, and acquired the former Maanshan No.2 Middle School Branch and Gushu Junior High School as Dangtu No.2 Middle School, and the former No.2 Middle School Headquarters as a junior high school. After the adjustment of urban education layout, Dangtu No.2 Middle School has become the largest complete middle school in the county and even Maanshan City. The school has 360 teaching and administrative staff, more than 330 full-time teachers, 96 senior middle school titles, intermediate titles 126, municipal academic leaders 1 person, 2 municipal backbone teachers1person, 36 county-level backbone teachers, 63 teaching classes in high school and 43 teaching classes in junior high school, with a total of more than 7,000 students.
