Is Judy's grandson Zhu Zhanji a good emperor?
He is a good emperor.

During Zhu Zhanji's administration, he carried out the policy of attaching importance to agriculture, relieving famine and punishing corruption. During the period of Ren Xuan, Yang Shiqi, Yang Pu and Yang Rong, great cabinet scholars, took charge of state affairs and made great achievements. During their reign, it became a rare period in the history of Ming emperors, characterized by clean administration, economic development and social stability. History contains: "The rule of Ren Xuan, officials say their duties, political affairs are fair, discipline is refined, jade is full of envy, and happiness is harmonious, so eighteen years old can't be a disaster." Sixty years after the prosperity of Ming Dynasty, people's anger is getting better and better, which shows signs of calming down. Gu Yingtai said: "Ming has benevolence and publicity, Zhou has success and health, and Han has literature and scenery." Later generations called it "benevolent politics and peace" and compared it to the "rule of culture and scenery" in the Western Han Dynasty.

Zhu Zhanji can implement a benevolent policy of loving the people and benefiting the people. He knows the truth that "people can carry a boat or overturn it", so during his reign, he sympathized with the people and implemented the policy of sharing interest with them. "Sitting in the palace and thinking about agriculture, countryside and farmers" is really Zhu Zhanji's true mentality of caring about agricultural production and farmers' life. He continued to pursue the policy of recruiting talents and talents since the Hongwu Dynasty, reclaiming land and developing agricultural production. In March of the fifth year of Xuande (1430), when Zhu Zhanji passed by farmland, he saw farmers working by the roadside and dismounted to ask about the growth of crops. He was in high spirits, took the farm tools from the farmers and plowed the fields by himself. After a few pushes, he stopped, turned to the minister beside him and said, I feel exhausted after three pushes, not to mention the farmers have been working all the year round. After that, he ordered people to give money to farmers. He knows the life and situation of farmers, so he can take their interests into account when making policies. In June of the same year, a plague of locusts occurred in the capital area, and Zhu Zhanji sent officials to direct the extermination of locusts. He was still not at ease, so he specifically ordered the Ministry to warn them that the officials in charge of catching locusts in previous years were no less harmful to the people than the locust plague, so it was strictly forbidden to put an end to this kind of thing from happening again, and he wrote a poem "Catch Locusts" to the courtiers.

In the seventh year of Xuande, Jiaxing and Huzhou, which suffered from floods, were also reduced or exempted. In the past eight years, Xuande has also reduced or exempted taxes in many disaster areas.

Zhu Zhanji gave the eunuchs silver plates. Zhu Zhanji knew that the bad king abused the people's power and even conquered the country. Yang Di was an example. Taking this as a lesson, Zhu Zhanji attaches great importance to cherishing human resources. During his reign of 10, he issued many orders to help the people get out of trouble. In the first year of Xuande (1426), in July, Huguang stopped cutting. Xuande five years (1430) in February, hit the department to collect firewood. In November of the third year of Xuande (1428), Commander Zhong of Royal Guards invited him to collect pearls in Dongguan. Zhu Zhanji not only refused, but also thought that he wanted to use this trouble to seek benefits for himself, and he was arrested and imprisoned. He has also given tax allowances and accumulated firewood and grass many times, exempting old and disabled craftsmen and people without indoor skills in Beijing.
