Huainan Industrial School (Huainan Chemical School) was founded in 1956, formerly known as Huainan No.4 Middle School (Huainan Mining Group No.2 Middle School). 1982 opened vocational high school classes, and 1986 was renamed Huainan Industrial School with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government.
