Brief introduction of Quxi town
Quxi Town, known as the ancient town in southern Zhejiang, is famous for its beautiful scenery, convenient transportation and prosperous industry and commerce. The ancient town is named after Quxi River, the mainstream of Sanxi, with a long history. It used to be famous for producing bamboo shoots and toilet paper, and was known as Quxi Street and Quxi Village in Shanghai. Quxi Town has a tanning history of 130 years, and is famous for its cowhide tanning. Quxi Town is located in the midwest of Wenzhou City, 3.7 kilometers away from the city center/kloc-0, with a town area of 35.34 square kilometers. It now administers 15 administrative villages and 3 neighborhood committees, with a permanent population of 234 17, a temporary population of 8069 and a floating population of 8375.
