Sanjie Town is located in the north of Shengzhou City, downstream of Tongxi River, 9 kilometers away from the urban area/kloc-0, connecting Wang Zhen in the east, Xianyan Town in the south, Wangtan Town in Shaoxing County in the west and Zhang zhen Town in Shangyu City in the north. It is named because it is located at the junction of Shaoxing, Shangyu and Shengzhou. The town covers a total area of 155.7 square kilometers, governs 103 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees with a population of 65,700. Shangsan Expressway, 104 National Road and Cao 'e River pass through the town and communicate with Shangsan Expressway. It takes half an hour to drive to Shaoxing, 1 hour to Ningbo, Hangzhou and 3 hours to Shanghai. It is one of the important areas of "Zhejiang One-hour Economic Circle". With obvious geographical advantages, it is known as the "North Gate of Shengzhou" and is one of the central towns in Shengzhou, which has been included in the important wing of the development strategy of "one city and two wings" in Shengzhou. In 2004, Sanjie Town was named provincial civilized town and Shaoxing municipal ecological town.
Sanjie Town is a thousand-year-old town with a long history. Founded in the Yongjian period of the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 129), it was called Shining County in ancient times. According to records, "During the Yongjian period of the Eastern Han Dynasty (A.D. 129), it was analyzed that Shanxian North Township and Shangyu South Township (now Sanjie) were located in Shining County". In the ninth year of Emperor Wendi (AD 589), Ningxian was abolished, and in the eighth year of Wude in Tang Gaozu (AD 625), the territory of Ningxian was still an old genus. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, it was called Sanjie Town. After liberation, it was adjusted several times. 200 1, 1 1, Friendship Township and Jiangzhen Town merged into Sanjie Town.
