Fengcheng County was established in the 15th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (2 10) and designated as Fucheng County in the south of Nanchang County. In the sixth year of Jin Taikang (280), it was renamed Fengcheng County. It is said that during Jin Yongping's reign, Fengcheng County (now Tang Rong Field) once had a "purple gas fighting star", and the county magistrate Lei Huan dug up the prison base and got the male and female swords of the generals in the Spring and Autumn Period and Mo Xie. Therefore, Fengcheng was nicknamed "Jane".
In the second year of Tang Yonghui, he moved to the east bank of Ganjiang River (now the old city). The names changed from time to time, followed by Fucheng, Fengcheng, Guangfeng, Fengcheng, Wugao, Fuzhou and Fengcheng, with Fengcheng being named for the longest time. At the beginning of the Republic of China, Fengcheng belonged to Yuzhang Road. In the fifteenth year of the Republic of China (1926), Zhili Jiangxi Province. In the 15th year of the Republic of China (1926), Fengcheng was directly under the jurisdiction. In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), there were administrative districts under the province, with Fengcheng as the first administrative district. 1988 10 10 On 4 October, with the approval of the State Council, the Ministry of Civil Affairs revoked Fengcheng County and established Fengcheng City (county level). In August, 2000, Yichun District was abolished and a prefecture-level Yichun City was established, in charge of fengcheng city.
