History of laser engraving
1. What is laser engraving intaglio laser engraving intaglio is to engrave the intaglio cylinder with a laser intaglio engraving machine, and its working process is as follows: firstly, completely corrode the intaglio copper cylinder, form a traditional ink hole with a depth of about 50μ m on its surface, and determine the angles of the grid and overprint marks.

Then the epoxy resin with a specific formula is coated on the surface of gravure cylinder by electrostatic spraying process, and then heat treatment (curing resin) and honing are carried out. The performance of thermosetting epoxy resin is similar to that of copper matrix, and its surface can be made smooth by honing.

The above is mainly to prepare for laser engraving, and the prepared roller can be stored for a long time and engraved at any time. When carving, a high-power carbon dioxide laser beam is used to sweep the surface of the drum to evaporate the epoxy resin on the surface.

Adjusting the focusing degree of the laser beam can make the ink hole reach the required depth and size. Through repeated shooting, the ink hole finally carved is smooth and clear.

During the engraving process, the drum rotates on the lathe bed at the speed of 1000r/min, and the laser beam sweeps the surface of the drum at the speed of 75mm/min. The engraving speed is 654.38+100000 ink holes/second.

After drum carving, it can be used for proofing or other modification operations. The cylinder directly engraved is suitable for short type printing. When printing long-form movable type, electroplating (nickel plating, copper plating or chromium plating) is needed in the traditional way to increase the strength of the layout and the printing resistance of the printing plate.

The used roller can peel off the original electroplating layer, re-coat the epoxy resin and use it again, which can be repeated at most 10 times.

2. What's the use of laser engraving? Our factory was established in 2003, located in Tangxia Town 128 Industrial Zone, Dongguan.

3. What is laser engraving for? Laser engraving processing is based on numerical control technology and takes laser as processing medium.

The physical denaturation of the processed material that melts and gasifies instantly under the irradiation of laser engraving can make laser engraving achieve the purpose of processing. Laser engraving is the use of laser technology to engrave words on objects. The words carved by this technology have no nicks, the surface of the object is still smooth, and the handwriting will not be worn.

Laser engraving processing is based on numerical control technology and takes laser as processing medium. The processed materials are instantly melted and gasified under laser irradiation, so as to achieve the purpose of processing.

Characteristics of laser processing: it does not touch the surface of the material, is not affected by mechanical movement, and the surface will not be deformed, generally without fixation. Not affected by the elasticity and flexibility of the material, which is convenient for soft materials.

High machining precision, high speed and wide application field.

4. Advantages of laser engraving Advantages of laser engraving: 1, wide range: CO2 laser can engrave and cut almost any nonmetallic material.

And the price is low! 2, safe and reliable: non-contact processing will not cause mechanical extrusion or mechanical stress to the material. There is no "knife mark" and damage on the surface of the workpiece; The material will not deform; 3. Precise and meticulous: the machining accuracy can reach 0.02mm4. Energy saving and environmental protection: the diameter of light beam and spot is small, generally less than 0.5mm;; Cutting saves materials and is safe and hygienic; 5. Consistent effect: ensure that the processing effect of the same batch is completely consistent.

6. High speed and quickness: it can be carved and cut at high speed immediately according to the pattern output by the computer. 7. Low cost: not limited by the number of processing, laser processing is cheaper for small batch processing services.

5. What is the history of screen sculpture? Screen production forms are diverse, mainly vertical screen and folding screen.

Later, there was a screen insert purely for decoration, which was petite and interesting. In ancient times, the screen production of princes and nobles was very particular, using mica, crystal, glass and other materials. In the process of inlaying, precious articles such as ivory, jade, enamel (lnɡ), jadeite, gold and silver were used.

It can be described as extremely luxurious. However, most folk screen production advocates practicality and simplicity.

There are many people who display plain screens. Since Wei and Jin Dynasties, this trend has prevailed. Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, once wrote a book on Su Ping, saying, "Isn't there Li's seal script, his calligraphy, frontier flowers and birds, and his turquoise?" I don't want to add a little painting to it. I want to be faithful and all white. "

It shows its admiration for flat screens. Compared with Huaping, the home of Emperor Zhou, the folk plain screen is really unique and carefree.

6. Laser engraving has advantages. 1. Comparison between laser engraving and manual engraving.

Laser engraving plate making completely imitates and optimizes the design of manual plate making. After the laser engraving plate was put into the market, within ten years, the engraving had a slope of 0.3MM, and the light attenuation at the corner of the engraving was automatically compensated by software upgrade. Improve the speed of automatic engraving. Basically, hand-carved plate making will be eliminated. In addition, laser engraving plate-making completely eliminates the engraving errors and the inevitable engraving errors in manual engraving. The manuscript is good, because of a mistake in hand lettering, the whole layout is scrapped. If not found in time, often the whole batch of cartons will be scrapped. Laser engraving is the use of software, the original input automatic engraving, there is no engraving error. It turns out that more than 20,000 manual engraving and plate-making practitioners in the Pearl River Delta have basically disappeared, and they have all changed careers.

Second, the comparison between laser engraving plate making and resin plate making.

Low one-time investment in laser engraving and plate making. A 2-meter photosensitive flexible dryer is not less than 400,000 yuan, and a laser engraving machine is about 40,000 yuan.

Resin plate has a high production cost. The average price of resin plate in Pearl River Delta region is 1.25 yuan /in2, and the average price of laser engraving plate is 0.32 yuan /in2. Although mass production in resin plate can reduce the production cost to 0.90 yuan /in2, it is not possible for any enterprise. Even if it can be done, the cost is much higher than that of laser plate making.

Laser engraving plate-making has low energy consumption and no pollution, and resin plate processing has high pollution. Although it is better to have a plate-making liquid recovery device than not, the recovery rate of plate-making liquid cannot be 100%, and pollution is inevitable.

The size of laser engraving can be infinite, and the production site only needs more than 10 square meters, while the working site of resin printing machine can not be less than 40 square meters. The smell is pungent during production, and the production site must be isolated independently. In addition, the machining size is limited by the model. The 2-meter photosensitive flexographic printing machine can only produce resin plates within 2 meters. 5. Laser engraving plate-making adopts a slope of 0.3MM, and its durability is basically close to that of resin plate. Only the resin plate printing below No.7 is obviously better than the laser engraving plate.

Third, the practical application of laser engraving plate and photosensitive resin plate in corrugated box packaging industry

At present, in the economically developed areas of the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta, photosensitive resin plates and laser engraving plates are more popular. Because of its high flexibility and clear marks, resin plate occupies 30% of the market in the carton industry, while laser engraving plate-making has completely accepted 70% of the original hand-carved plate-making market. 90% of corrugated boxes belong to transport packaging, and the printing marking requirements are generally around 40 lines, while the carton printing machinery can only reach below 80 lines at most, and color offset printing is generally used above 80 lines. Laser engraving can be used for electrical packaging between transportation packaging and sales packaging. Because of the habitual reasons of some factory operators, most of them are printed with resin now.

4. Competition and prediction between laser engraving plate and photosensitive resin plate with low energy consumption, environmental protection and economy

5. Diversified competition of plate-making technology

Competition not only provides more choices for carton packaging industry, but also greatly reduces costs and improves economic benefits for carton packaging industry. Before laser engraving appeared, the average price of photosensitive resin was 5 yuan /in2. At that time, almost every industrial zone in the Pearl River Delta had photosensitive resin plate production and processing points, and there was a trend of spread. After the laser engraving plate was put on the market, the price of photosensitive resin plate dropped sharply, and the production scale was reduced to 1.25 yuan /in2 today. The benefits brought by plate-making competition to carton packaging industry are obvious. To sum up, the competition of corrugated box packaging enterprises in printing plate technology will continue in the future, and the competition between laser engraving and photosensitive resin plate will continue and be more exciting. According to the forecast of experts in corrugated paper packaging and carton industry. In the future, photosensitive resin will completely withdraw from the printing plate of transport packaging cartons. Between the transportation and sales packaging of printed products, photosensitive resin version still has a weak advantage. About 60% of them use photosensitive resin plate, and 40% use laser engraving plate. The situation that the original photosensitive resin version unified the rivers and lakes has undoubtedly become history.

At present, the printing plates in the carton packaging industry generally occupy 75% of the market, and there is a trend of continuous extension. Although photosensitive resin has high stability and high-definition printing effect, the cost problem is the bottleneck restricting its development. Even if the cost can be reduced, environmental protection is the most critical issue that restricts its development. Therefore, economical and environmentally friendly laser engraving plate making is the development direction of printing plate materials in carton packaging industry in the future.

7. What is the principle of laser engraving? It has always been considered that it is not technically feasible to directly engrave copper plate with laser, but laser can directly engrave zinc.

Swiss MDC Company realized direct laser engraving through the improvement of plate-making process. First, a thin layer of nickel is electroplated on the copper roller, then copper is plated on its surface, and then zinc is plated.

This layer of zinc can absorb laser energy and evaporate, together with the copper under it, forming a clean hole carrying ink. After carving, like other carving rollers, the roller is finally plated with a hard layer of chromium.

A YAG laser with a power of about 500W has also been developed, which can carve 70,000 meshes per second. The laser direct engraving system is mainly composed of high-energy laser, laser transmission system and optical system. By adjusting the focal length, the energy per unit area can be adjusted.

Laser engraving materials: non-metallic materials processing (co2 laser): plexiglass, wood, leather, cloth, plastic, rubber board for printing, bicolor board, glass, artificial crystal, ox horn, cardboard, density board, marble, jade, etc. Metal material processing (YAG laser) ordinary metal materials.
