The story of Shennong
It is said that Shennong looks very strange, with a thin figure. Except for his head and limbs, his whole body is transparent (crystal belly) and his internal organs are clearly visible.

Shennong tasted all kinds of herbs. As long as the herbs are poisonous, his internal organs will turn black after taking them, so it is easy for you to know what herbs affect which parts of the human body. Later, because Shennong took too many kinds of poison and accumulated too much poison, he finally died of heartbroken grass (some people say it was a hundred-legged worm).

According to legend, Shennong invented the farming method. He ordered people to collect grain seeds and sow them on cultivated land. After that, people cultivated grain in this way, which is why Shennong is called the source.

According to legend, Shennong has a "crystal belly" with transparent abdominal organs. Therefore, he personally tasted hundreds of herbs to identify the efficacy of various herbs. Finally, he tried a highly toxic herb, which is said to be Herba Clerodendranthi (or millipede). His intestines were cut off, and eventually he died, so people named it Herba Lysimachiae.

Shennong has a red magic whip called ochre whip, which is used to whip all kinds of flowers and plants, so that the cold and hot characteristics of flowers and plants are exposed.
