Panlongcheng, located in huangpi district, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, is an ancient city site about 3,500 years ago. The site of Panlongcheng was discovered in 1964. After many archaeological excavations, the mystery of this ancient city was gradually unveiled. The site of Panlongcheng is known as "Wuhan Underground Forbidden City" because of its rich cultural relics, unique geographical location and important role in ancient civilization in China.

In particular, the 94cm-long Yuge unearthed in Panlongcheng was announced by National Cultural Heritage Administration in 2002 as one of the first batch of 64 cultural relics prohibited from going abroad, which is a national first-class cultural relic.
