The history of Ruijin?
Ruijin is a world-famous red old capital, which was founded in 953 AD, and 1994 withdrew from the county to set up a city. Historically, because Ruijin is located in the eastern mountainous area of southern Jiangxi, the traffic is blocked, and it belongs to the "wild land of eight Fujian and hundreds of yue", and its cultural formation started late, lagging behind the Central Plains. In 953, in the 11th year of Baoda in Southern Tang Dynasty, Ruijin Prison was changed to Ruijin County.

During the Soviet period, the Chinese Soviet provisional central government was established in Ruijin, which was named as the county directly under the central government and renamed as "Ruijing".

1994 May 18, the Ministry of Civil Affairs (People's Bank of China [1994] No.83) gave an official reply, and with the approval of the State Council, it was agreed to cancel Ruijin County and establish Ruijin City (county level). 1February, 1999, the people's government of Jiangxi Province approved Ruijin as a provincial city, which was managed by Ganzhou City.
