Guide Pear Blossom Festival

Every year in early April, pear blossoms bloom along the Yellow River. This year's flowering period is expected to be between April 15th and 20th. The unique clear water of the Yellow River makes it a popular destination. April and autumn are the most beautiful seasons here. The pear blossoms on April Mountain dyed the whole town white. In addition to flower viewing, there are also a series of cultural and celebratory activities, such as the Guozhuang Dance Competition held at the theater and dances and concerts at Waterwheel Square. This year’s Pear Festival will kick off on April 9.

Current location The Yellow River is the main reason why most people stay in Guide. After visiting the Huangyu Pavilion, it is recommended to take a walk along the Nanbinhe Road Avenue in the afternoon. From west to east, take a look at the Chinese Fortune Wheel and admire the clear water of the Yellow River meandering under the bridge. If you still have time, you can also go see the wonders outside the city.

From here, walk along the main road for about 1 kilometer. You can enjoy the colorful landscape corridor from a distance, and you can also choose your own experience. If you are interested, go deeper into the canyon and observe the rock texture up close. Among them, Xuanyuan Gorge has a walking trail with beautiful scenery. This is a very popular canyon, but the latter is rugged and requires a guide.

The tour time depends on the depth of the attraction, ranging from 1.5 hours to half a day. The advantage is that there are few tourists, and at night, the sunset rocks are particularly colorful. On the way to the Geopark, you will pass by the reed-covered wetlands beside the Yellow River.
