Tiegou Scenic Area

Tiegou Scenic Area is located in Taizi Mountain in the south of the county, 20 kilometers away from Hezheng County. The scenic spot is in the shape of a canyon, with a depth of about 12 kilometers. There are iron-smelting relics at the mouth of the gorge, so it is named Luzitan. The Tibetan Buddhist Tiehua Temple was originally built here, but it was later destroyed and never repaired. And the railway road passes through the canyon to the middle of the mountain. There are dense forests in the gorge, with towering peaks on both sides and thousands of stone walls. At the northern foot of Zishan Mountain, in Luojiaji Township, 20 kilometers away from the county seat, there is a beautiful and charming scenic spot - Sanchagou. The Huangluo Highway can directly lead to the scenic spot, and the transportation conditions are very convenient. In recent years, this beautiful scenic spot has attracted many tourists to visit and admire the poetic and picturesque nature. Entering Sanchagou, on both sides of the winding road, there are patches of farmland and villages on the tall green hillsides. Several crystal clear streams flow slowly in the quiet valleys and green grass. From time to time, there are scattered houses and small bridges embedded in them. The first thing to greet you is the first beautiful woman in Sancha Scenic Area - "Little Red Cliff". Going further in, you will come to the hinterland of Sanchagou, which is composed of three ditches: Xiongwogou, Zhigou and Xigou, hence the name "Sanchagou". There are three creeks flowing in the three ditches. The three creeks converge in front of a small mountain peak with joyful songs and laughter, telling the myths and pastoral poems of spring, summer, autumn and winter here, creating a scene like "Three Rivers and Spring Waves".

The peak gradually rises from north to south. The small caves on the north front of the peak are as if carved by heaven. They are distributed on both sides. There are small hills on each side of the outside. Looking from a distance, it is very beautiful. It looks like a live carp swimming in the river, and like a carp jumping over the dragon gate eager to try. It is also called "carp splashing in the water" locally. When you are there, you feel relaxed and happy, as if the infinite vitality of nature is blooming and surging. The mountains to the east of "Sanchagou" are lush with trees and flowers and grass. A thousand-year-old pear tree on the top of the mountain needs three rings. This ancient tree records the vicissitudes of time and the ups and downs of history.
