Binzhou College is a general undergraduate university directly under the Shandong Provincial People's Government. It is located in Binzhou City, the hometown of Sun Tzu, the soldier sage, the old revolutionary base of Bohai Sea, and the beautiful and rich central city of the Yellow River Delta. The school's predecessor was Beizhen Normal School, which was founded in 1954. In 1958, it was upgraded to Beizhen Normal College and began to provide junior college education. In 1983, it was renamed Binzhou Normal College. In 2004, it was renamed Binzhou College with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
