The "Dunhuang Summer" cultural performance is a large-scale song and dance performance with strong Silk Road cultural characteristics, reflecting the songs and dances of Han, Hui, Tibetan, Uyghur, Mongolian and other ethnic groups in the northwest region Art.

The songs and dances are based on the materials in the Mogao Grottoes murals, with Dunhuang music and dance as the theme, recreating the dances, costumes and music of various ethnic groups along the Silk Road.

"Dunhuang Music and Dance" Dunhuang integrated Eastern and Western singing and dancing arts in ancient times, creating unique Dunhuang folk music. The Dunhuang posthumous book is a 2-foot manuscript copied from the fourth year of Changxing in the Tang Dynasty (933 AD) after the Five Dynasties. The three scores completely record the Dunhuang music scores of the Tang and Five Dynasties. However, because the characters are difficult to read, it is often called the "Book of Heaven."

In 1992, after many years of exploration and research, Mr. Xi Zhenguan, a famous Dunhuang scholar in Gansu Province, finally deciphered this difficult "Heavenly Book" and resurrected the famous "Tang Music" intact. Relevant people also made three audio tapes of "Dunhuang Ancient Music" and released them. Dunhuang integrated Eastern and Western song and dance arts in ancient times, creating unique Dunhuang music and dance. The Feitian Song and Dance Troupe of Dunhuang Hotel has excavated, organized and arranged some programs, mainly including "The Daughter of Huarong", "The Waist Sword Dance", the small dance drama "Meeting in Dunhuang", etc. The entire program, from music, costumes, props to content, contains a strong cultural atmosphere of Dunhuang. After watching it, you will feel like you are in Dunhuang during the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
