The Jinfan Concert Hall was designed by a well-known acoustic architecture expert. It does not have electronic sound amplification equipment and fully utilizes natural sound to meet the requirements of music appreciation and is positioned at an audio level that can engage in international exchanges. The reverberation time is 1.4 seconds (full venue), which is the best value for chamber music performances. Acoustic measurements and performance practice have shown that there are no acoustic defects such as echo and sound focus in Jinfan Concert Hall, and it fully meets the expected design requirements.

Jinfan Concert Hall has been open to the public since April 1998. The first performance was a chamber concert by the China Symphony Orchestra. Since then, groups such as the Central Nationalities Paradise and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra have successively held a number of chamber concerts in various forms. Jinfan Concert Hall has always enthusiastically supported and guaranteed concerts held by amateur groups and individuals in the city’s education system.
