How did it feel when you saw yourself for the first time?

No matter how powerful a person is, he is not omnipotent and invulnerable, especially an ordinary person like me.

When I am in the most difficult and helpless situation and do not get help from the people closest to me, I will also feel abandoned and unloved.

In addition, I can also feel angry, angry that they stood by and watched, and what will happen to me after being angry...

I will be afraid, it turns out that those who surrounded me My love was all an illusion, and it turned out that I was as scared as a child...

My whole life instantly felt like it was collapsed and abandoned, and I gradually felt more pressure.

Until chatting with a friend, she said that she should give herself at least 30 minutes of meditation every day to process her thoughts and emotions.

I dare not use my limited thinking to understand the infinite thing of meditation. In the early days of contact, I was afraid that meditation was a superstitious behavior, so I searched a lot of information and research reports on the Internet. I found that it mainly improves the body, mind, and spirit at three levels.

Meditation is a self-control psychological adjustment method that achieves biological effects by regulating cognition, emotion, and behavior; it is usually used to promote calm thoughts, relax the body, and make people happy , calm and serene.

Research from the University of Waterloo in Canada has confirmed that ten minutes of meditation can drive away anxiety and irritability.

Because my friend’s records every day are like my own inner emotions, so according to her prompts, I also started to meditate in Huangting for 30 minutes every day.

What exactly is Huangting Zen?

Our ancestors called the small few inches of space in the middle of the breasts the "Huangting", and later generations called it the "heart", and it is the "nest" of all our emotions.

The ancients called "a square inch of chaos", and that square inch is the "Huangting". The core of Huangting meditation is not "stopping thoughts" or "emptying", but "release" and "freedom". At the moment when emotions and thoughts are "released" and "free" to flow, we do not judge, block, suppress or covet.

This contains another concept "internal judgment system", so once we are not satisfied, our inner judgment system starts to operate, making us think that we are guilty if we do not pursue happiness, or make the atmosphere embarrassing. Will be abandoned and so on.

Of course, everyone’s judgment system is different. I am just giving an example here. You can analyze it according to your own situation.

"Huang Tingchan" does not tell you which is right or wrong, but allows you to see clearly your own inner operating system.

For example, when I am meditating, my feet are inevitably numb. In fact, it is because I subconsciously want to change my posture. After meditating for a long time, I can notice that the numbness in my feet is transmitted to my mind, and my mind will send out "Change posture". "posture" instructions, and if I didn't follow them, Huang Tingli began to feel "irritated" and "disgusted".

In the first stage, every blood vessel and muscle was filled with firecrackers. Not long after sitting, I felt unbearable pain all over my body. I was forced to hold on for 30 minutes. At the end, I was sweating profusely and felt relieved.

In the second stage, the blood is like a stable blue flame. You can feel it rotating and flowing in the body. It is hot and fast. Sometimes it will crackle and burst when it encounters impure oxygen. You can persist for 30 minutes. , the body is sore but the mind is clear and can fall into deep sleep quickly.

The first few times were particularly difficult because experienced practitioners said they should sit quietly for 10 minutes every morning and evening. It's hard for me to stick to something that seems simple.

A friend enlightened me: "The process of meditation - slow is fast, everyone has his own rhythm. If you keep doing it, you will find your own progress. It does not change a person, but transforms Being alone can make you slowly become a very powerful person. ”

In the past, Vipassana meditation was just about watching. And Huang Tingchan wants us to think - everything is included in our human body universe. Just like "emptiness" supports every star, "tolerance" loves each of our souls.

I have been persisting for a month, sitting back and watching the storm surge inside me. Emotions are very complex and not so easy to blow away like the wind. But you can try to do it.

Some people will ask me, what benefits have you gained from practicing meditation?

Breaking traditional cognition

All cognitions of the world so far are based on the human body’s own senses.

For example, we can see colors, hear sounds, touch the shapes of objects, understand the meaning of a formula, and think that we feel the world.

However, in fact, all of these are unique interpretations given by the organs to the brain through nerve transmission. So in this way, are there some substances that can only be sensed by organs that the human body does not have?

Absolutely, and meditation is a very metaphysical thing, invisible and intangible, as if it is far away from us, but it is a real experience.

As meditation deepens, you will find that your original world view is biased, because meditation challenges our inertia and common cognition. We have been living under the framework of inertia for about 30 years. , then the difficulty of challenging it can be imagined.

Look inward and accept it completely

We always try our best to understand all kinds of things happening in the outside world, but we don’t try to look inward, just like Tagore said "The place closest to us is the farthest away."

Look inward and find the purest strength within. Many things ultimately test a person's mental strength.

Mental strength is more like the ability to accept and integrate. Don't judge anything you encounter, just accept whatever happens. Nothing is right or wrong, and no one is good or bad. Then integrate. Only when the inner self is stronger, the integration will be better.

An experience that particularly impressed me was that some time ago, both work and life were extremely stressful, and I was in a state of anxiety, so I simply meditated.

During the meditation process, suddenly there was an energy in my body slowly rising from the bottom of my body, reaching the middle of my heart chakra, and finally dissipated. At that moment, my entire chest felt cold, like the feeling of a bullet breaking an ice cube and the ice cube melting. All the anxieties and worries in my heart were instantly wiped out.

I just realized that the energy in our bodies is so powerful. It’s just whether we can experience it and awaken the energy in our bodies.

On the path of meditation, you never know what you will gain. You never know how many things in this world are beyond our thinking. It is like a mystery that attracts me tirelessly. To explore, to perceive, to understand the world we live in.

So even if it is your first time to meditate, you can start practicing it from 5 minutes and proceed step by step.

Although I practice alone, I also have a good friend and mentor. I would like to thank my friend Ziwen for all her help during my meditation. Whenever I have any questions, she will help me immediately. Me, secondly persistence is a must.

Remember not to judge yourself, whether it is to upset or encourage you. Not only allow yourself to "can", but also allow yourself to "can't".
