Neal Caffrey

(played by Matthew Bomer) – a master of fraud. Captured by FBI agent Peter Burke. His girlfriend Kate visited him in prison after his arrest and said she would end their relationship. Neal escapes from prison and goes to find Kate. However, he was arrested again by Peter soon afterwards. Neil proposed that he assist the FBI in exchange for his freedom. Although the FBI agreed, they also installed a monitor on his ankle to monitor his actions. Neal also used his new identity as an FBI agent to find Kate. After Kate's death, he continued to search for Kate's killer. Neal has a good knowledge of history, jewelry, and art, even though he didn't graduate from high school. Despite the opportunity to build a new, honest life for himself, Neal often longs for his old life, forcing him to make a choice between the two. Neal's father was a corrupt police officer and he was raised by his mother.

Peter Burke

(played by Tim DeKay) – a hard-working and honest FBI agent and the leader of the team that captured Neal. He uses his intelligence to predict Neal's movements and capture Neal. He is committed to his marriage and loves his family life. Peter is the person Neal trusts the most and is determined to convince Neal that he can be an honest man. After Kate's death, Peter is determined to investigate the truth about the music box. Peter has a degree in accounting. He originally had the opportunity to work for a Fortune 500 company, but he entered the FBI instead. He is devoted to his marriage and loves his family life. Elizabeth Burke (Tiffani Thiessen) – nicknamed El, Peter’s wife. She is very supportive and understanding of Peter's work. She is a very smart woman who also discusses cases with Peter. She also admired Neal. Mozzie (played by Willie Garson) – nicknamed Moz, "Detroit Dentist", a master of fraud, Neal's best friend, almost omnipotent, and the person Neal trusts most. Abandoned as a baby, he grew up in an orphanage in Detroit, where he learned some tricks. Although he is not as sophisticated as Neal, he is knowledgeable in many fields and has an excellent memory. He is also the only one who knows what happened before and after Kate disappeared.

Diana Berrigan

(Marsha Thomason) – Peter’s assistant and helped Peter capture Neal. Later transferred to Washington. After that, he returned to New York and served as Jones' assistant. I have a girlfriend named Christy.

Sara Ellis

(Hilarie Burton) – Insurance company investigator. Hunted Neal for years when he stole a Raphael painting. But later I enjoyed working with Neal*** and helped find clues about the music box. During the investigation, she developed a relationship with Neal and broke up with him after discovering Neal's secret treasure. She was a highly sought-after candidate for Neal's girlfriend.

Kate Moreau

(played by Alexandra Daddario) - Neal's girlfriend. Break up with Neal while he was still in prison. When she gives Neal mysterious clues, she wants to communicate with him and is eventually ready to reunite with Neal, but her private plane explodes and she dies on the spot.

Special Agent Garrett Fowler

(Noah Emmerich) - A disgraced OPR agent. He abuses his power to pursue Neal's assistance in finding the music box, which ultimately leads to him being forced to resign. Neal believed he was responsible for Kate's death, and Peter later learned that he was being blackmailed by a strange man.
