Qian Xuesen, a leading figure in the scientific community, finally returned home after many twists and turns, and his children live a happy life.
1. Qian Xuesen is well-known to the Chinese. He was admitted to Jiaotong University at the age of 18, and after five years of further study, he was admitted to the seventh batch of Tsinghua University students studying in the United States, and then entered the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States. After studying with his mentor and making important breakthroughs in aerodynamic research, he became famous. Since the news of the birth of the People's Republic of China in 1949 spread all over the world, Mr. Qian discussed with his wife and decided to return to the motherland and contribute his strength to the motherland. But Mr. Qian's journey back to China was extremely difficult.
On the eve of his return to China, Mr. Qian was inexplicably detained by the Americans for 15 days without reason. He was released after paying bail. At that time, he had not yet been able to return to China. Wish is still in the United States, but at the same time he is under house arrest, his personal freedom is restricted, he is monitored by American agents, he is prohibited from participating in research work, and he is not allowed to leave the country. Later, he returned to his motherland as he wished with the help of the country.
2. Although Mr. Qian was very talented, at that time, Mr. Qian’s life overseas was not so smooth.
When Mr. Qian returned to Caltech in 1949, he spent a long time looking for a house where he could live for a long time. The reason for this was that there were conditions at that time. There was an unwritten rule that the house could not be resold to non-whites.
Because Mr. Qian is not a native American, his accent is inevitably different. Therefore, despite his high academic level, he was blatantly laughed at by students when he was giving lectures. Faced with these ridicules, Mr. Qian could only turn his grief and anger into motivation and study academic issues more intently.
3. Qian Xuesen and his wife *** have a son and a daughter. The son studied computer science at the California Institute of Technology in the United States, and also served as a part-time professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Mr. Qian’s daughter was greatly influenced by her mother. She loved music and later became a music educator.
There are a few English words in it, including COCO and in my heart, which sounds pretty exciting.
