The saxophone used in pop music is mainly alto and tenor.

1. Alto Saxophone is the most common saxophone, in the key of E flat, and it is also the saxophone most used in popular music. Due to the moderate key distance, breath requirements and mouth control difficulty between the soprano saxophone and tenor saxophone, as well as the relatively cheap price and easy transportation, it has become the most commonly used saxophone for beginners.

2. Tenor Saxophone (Tenor Saxophone) is usually in the key of B flat. Its appearance is slightly larger than that of the alto saxophone. It has an extra bend at the front end of the elbow, and its tone is gentle and steady. In wind bands, the number of tenor saxophones is less than that of altos, and they generally play a supporting role in the same score as the euphonium and trombone. In popular music, tenor saxophones play a central role.

Notes:

1. If the key pad becomes wet after playing the saxophone, absorbent paper can be sandwiched between the key pad and the sound hole. If there is residual moisture on the key pad, it will harden and reduce the service life.

2 Use Saxophone to insert the strip of cloth through the bell mouth of Saxophone, and then pull it out through the neck tube. Repeat several times to remove the moisture in the tube.
